The number of business planning services provided by G-MALE Consultants almost doubled in the past year. And with the addition of a planned new component to the Self-Employment Services program – Business Plan Resources and Support – more expansion is expected.
The complexity of casework has also increased. Because of our reputation for success, staff has seen a shift to more requests for business planning service and a decrease in referrals for assessments and feasibility studies. These result in staff providing a higher level and more complex type of service; one, which takes more time to complete.

What Motivates Us?
All proceeds for this "for profit company" are donated to the Downtown Eastside Abilities Link Society. The Society works with those on the street to provide them with an exit strategy if they so choose or in the alternative, real choices around lifestyle, housing and becomining less reliant on urgent services.
