Negotiated agreements have input from all of the stakeholders and while it is impossible to meet everyone's need, most of the important terms are almost always included in the solution. We have all heard of labour negotiations at a standstill for various reasons. Usually, these are not true interest based negotiations and resemble more often than not "demand seeking compliance." At G-MALE, we move parties from positions to interests and look to understand the underlying cause of conflict. It is only through the collaborative approach to problem solving that true resolution can be found.
